Bulk Domain Rating checker

Ahrefs DR for up to 25 domains at once, sortable, with CSV export.

How to use it

  1. Paste your list. Up to 25 domains or URLs, one per line or separated by commas. Duplicates are merged.
  2. Check all. One request to Ahrefs' free Domain Rating API covers the whole list.
  3. Sort and export. Results come back highest DR first. Download the CSV to keep it with your outreach sheet.

Why check DR in bulk

Link building and directory submissions start as a long list: every launch site, newsletter, podcast and roundup that might mention you. Checking them one by one wastes an afternoon. A bulk check turns the list into a ranked queue in one pass.

A simple way to prioritise

  1. DR 50+ with followed links. Do these first. One good listing here can be worth more than a dozen weak ones.
  2. DR 20–50 in your niche. Relevance makes up for a lower number. A DR 30 site that only covers your category is a strong signal.
  3. Under DR 20. Only if they bring real visitors. Many small directories are worth it for referral traffic alone.

Drop anything with a suspiciously high DR and no visible traffic or content. Link farms can inflate the number without being worth a link.

After the bulk check

Open the top rows and confirm the link is followed with the dofollow checker. Then estimate what each placement is worth with the backlink value calculator.

Scores come from Ahrefs' public Domain Rating API and are shown with the credit their licence requires.

What you get

  • Up to 25 domains per check
  • Sorted highest DR first
  • CSV download
  • Invalid lines flagged, not dropped silently

Questions

How many domains can I check at once?

Up to 25 per run. For a longer list, run it in batches of 25 and combine the CSVs.

Do I need an Ahrefs account?

No. The tool uses Ahrefs' free public Domain Rating endpoint, so there is no login, key or payment on your side.

Why does a domain show no rating?

Either the line was not a valid domain, or Ahrefs had no score for it. Very new or unlinked domains can return nothing at all.

Does the CSV include the full URL I pasted?

It includes the normalised domain and its Domain Rating. DR is a domain-level score, so paths are not kept.
