FixMyExport

FixMyExport is an app that cleans up the files you get from Snapchat's "My Data" export. It reads the capture dates and GPS coordinates stored in memories_history.json and writes them into each photo and video's EXIF metadata. Once that's done, your memories sort by date and appear on the map in Apple Photos, Google Photos and other gallery apps.

It also merges text, sticker and filter overlays that Snapchat exports as separate files back onto their photos and videos. It finds video recordings that were exported as 10- or 60-second fragments and joins them into one video. Processing happens on your device. If storage is tight, the app can upload each fixed file straight to your own Google Drive or Dropbox, so you don't need room for a second full copy.

FixMyExport runs on macOS, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android. It's free for up to 200 files. Pro is a one-time $14.99 payment for unlimited processing on one device, with no subscription. The app was previously called ExportSnaps and is not affiliated with Snapchat.
