About IndieNeed
IndieNeed is a launch board where independent makers post their products and visitors browse them. Launches are grouped by date (today, yesterday, last week, last month) and by category. There's also a leaderboard and a featured slot at the top of the homepage.
Makers can submit their own SaaS, AI tool or app. The site also has a community feed for posts, a blog, and a guide to other startup directories. Ad placements shown to every visitor start at $21 per week.
About ProductPerch
ProductPerch is a launch platform for indie makers on a fixed UTC schedule. Products go live at 00:00 UTC and get 24 hours of upvotes from signed-in members. A daily email digest goes out at 08:00 UTC, and ranks are frozen when the day ends. Each day has 12 free slots, 3 of them reserved for open-source projects, plus 8 paid slots.
To submit, you paste a URL and AI drafts the name, tagline, description and FAQ. You then edit the draft and add a logo and up to 6 screenshots. Free launches get the next open day. Paid launches start at $19 and let you choose any date up to 60 days out. Ranking is by upvotes only, one per account. Paid placements carry a Featured or Sponsored label and get no rank boost.
Open-source projects show stars, license and last commit pulled from the GitHub API. Verified repos get a dofollow link without placing a badge. The top 3 each day get a Product of the Day badge and a dofollow link. Other free launches get a dofollow link only if they place the badge, and are nofollow otherwise.
