Which should you pick?
- If price decides it, start with Soracai: it is listed as free with paid plans, while Glowy is paid.
- Neither has enough votes yet to compare.
- Both list themselves as alternatives to Lensa and Remini, so they are aimed at the same job.
Positioning is from each listing, not an endorsement.
About Glowy
Glowy generates realistic AI photos of you. You upload three selfies once, from different angles and with some open-mouth shots. Then you upload or pick a reference image with the look you want, and Glowy produces a photo of you in that scene, usually in under a minute. You don't need to write prompts. It aims to get a usable result on the first try instead of making you generate many versions.
The site pitches it for dating profiles, social media posts, personal branding headshots, travel shots and fashion. It focuses on the details that make AI images look fake: skin texture, lighting, hair, fabric, depth and keeping faces consistent. Exports are 2K with no watermark. The page says storage is private and encrypted, shared links expire, and there are five ready-made looks.
Pricing uses one-time credit packs with no subscription. A photo costs 10 credits, and you're only charged for photos that finish. Packs run from $9 for 20 photos to $50 for 200 photos, and credits never expire.
About Soracai
Soracai is a web-based AI photo editor. You upload a photo and apply a preset effect that follows a social media trend, such as Ghostface, an action figure in packaging, or adding an AI-generated boyfriend or girlfriend to the shot. It also upscales photos to 4K, animates still images with Motion Control and AI Dance, and makes videos from text prompts.
There is also a free-form generator. It takes custom prompts, offers 11+ aspect ratios and accepts reference images. More than a dozen art-style converters cover anime, oil painting, pixel art, cyberpunk and others. Uploads can be JPG, PNG or HEIC. The site says it runs on Nano Banana 2 and Pro for images and Sora 2 for video.
Pricing is pay-per-use with coins, starting at $0.99, and there's no subscription. One generation in the free-form creator costs 1 coin. The site also has a free image compressor, resizer and format converter that run in the browser and don't need an account.
