## About

Buma is a baby journal for iPhone and Android where both parents log into the same history. It has 24 built-in trackers, including sleep, nursing, bottles, nappies, medicine, temperature and milestones. You can also create your own trackers, each with its own form. Sleep and tummy time run as timers, and every entry can be backdated with one tap ("15m ago", "30m ago"). One parent sends a link or an eight-character code. The invite works once, expires within the hour and has to be approved. After that, anyone who joins can log and edit entries, and each entry shows who logged it and who last changed it. Each person can use their own units, such as millilitres or ounces, and the totals still match.

Buma predicts the next sleep window from the last wake-up and adjusts it as you log naps. A Patterns view lays out weeks of days side by side, one row per day. Growth charts plot weight, height and head size against the WHO Child Growth Standards. There's also a tooth chart and a Memories calendar for photos, which the other parent can react to. If your baby was born early, the app uses corrected age throughout. Ask Buma is an AI assistant that answers questions using your baby's own logged data and keeps notes such as allergies. The app says plainly that this is not medical advice.

The app is dark by default for night use and has no streaks or badges. It's available in 18 languages. Buma starts with a free trial, and after that one subscription covers the whole family.

## How the score works

The percentage is the raw share of swipes that went right. Rankings weigh that share against the number of swipes (a prior of 25 swipes at 50%), so a high score from a handful of swipes ranks below a slightly lower score from many. Anyone can swipe without an account; each browser or account swipes a product once.
