## What you get

- **A card to swipe.** Your product goes in front of founders, engineers and indie hackers one card at a time, with its logo, tagline and screenshot.
- **A public score from real votes.** One vote per person. The score is the share who said launch, and the rank accounts for how many voted.
- **A listing page.** A permanent page with your description, categories, screenshots and score, linked from the leaderboard and the directory.
- **A founder page.** Put your name on the listing and get a public page with your photo, links and everything you've built.
- **Readable by AI assistants.** Each listing has a .md twin and is served by the JSON API, llms-full.txt and the MCP server, so assistants can find and cite it.

## How it works

1. **Paste your link.** Paste your product's URL, or an App Store or Google Play link. No account needed.
2. **Check the draft.** The site reads the page and fills in the name, tagline, description, categories, logo and a screenshot. Edit anything that's off.
3. **Go live.** Pick a plan. Free goes live once our badge is on your homepage; paid plans (one-time, from $9) go live when paid. A moderator reviews every new listing, usually within a day.

## Why swipe votes instead of upvotes

- One vote per person per product, and it can't be changed, so a score is a count of people rather than of clicks.
- No launch-day race: a product keeps collecting votes, so it doesn't have to win one particular day.
- Sample-size-aware ranking: every product is ordered as if it started with 25 votes at 50%, so a handful of friendly votes can't outrank broad approval.

### Is it free?

Yes. Swiping is free, and so is a listing: put our badge on your homepage and it goes live. ### How long until my product is live?

Free: once our badge is on your homepage and you press Check my site. Paid (from $9): the moment the payment clears. A moderator reviews every new listing, usually within a day, and removes anything that isn't a real product or breaks the [terms](https://swipetolaunch.com/terms).

### Is SwipeToLaunch a Product Hunt alternative?

Yes, without the daily upvote race. You see one product at a time and swipe right to launch or left to pass, one vote per person. The [leaderboard](https://swipetolaunch.com/board) is weekly: each week's launches are ranked by their share of launch votes, weighed by how many people voted, and every closed week keeps a page with its top three.

### Are the links to my product dofollow?

Free listings get a followed link while our badge is on their homepage; otherwise links carry rel="nofollow ugc". Every paid plan (from $9) keeps a plain followed link for good, never sponsored.
